As an active club we are pleased to present power boating activities each year. We focus on promoting pleasurable, safe and informative boating programs for our members and guests. Whether you own a personal water craft (PWC) or power yacht, we offer something for everyone.
Club power events we are most proud of are:
  • Annual Parade of Lights - Held on the second Saturday of each December, power and sail boat owners decorate their boats with lights to celebrate the season and make a tour around the lake to the dam and back. This event is looked forward to by many in the Canyon Lake community. Click HERE to see entries from the last Parade of Lights. Participation is open to all boat owners. Join us next December !
  • Rocking the Balls - Held on or about the third Saturday of July, boaters from all over the lake raft up at the mooring balls north of Canyon Lake Marina to enjoy the company of each other to listen to live bands on house boats. Click HERE for photos.
  • Flotilla of Freedom - Parade of vessels, both sail and power, proudly displaying American flags, sail in solemn procession beneath the dam on 9/11 in conjunction with the Freedom Walk across the dam. This event is open to any boater. Come join us next September 11th. Click HERE for photos.
  • Frequent Summer Raft-ups in a quiet cove - HCYC is a family friendly social group that enjoys the company of pleasant people interested in water recreation. Come join us and bring your children! Click HERE for pictures.
